Katie Klopp (Host)
I am Katie Klopp, founder and head strength and nutrition coach at Lift Well.
My love for health and fitness started when I was young. I began my fitness journey as a teenager who was not athletic but knew that adding a fitness routine to my lifestyle was important in order to stay healthy, maintain weight and become strong. My commitment to staying active turned into a love of hiking and trail running, scuba diving and paddle boarding along with strength and metabolic training.
While growing up I had a strong example of how to grow food, cook and eat with health in mind. That part of my childhood turned into a desire to pursue food and nutrition. After receiving a culinary arts degree and working in the food industry for almost a decade I decided that health and fitness were missing in my career.
Since 2016 I’ve been working as a certified personal trainer in the North Atlanta area, guiding my clients towards a healthier lifestyle and watching them reach their goals.
Through my career as a personal trainer I learned how to safely circumvent pain. As a bodywork practitioner I have learned that by properly aligning the body pain does not have to be a dictator in the activities that make us feel alive, bring joy and drive us to keep moving. As a nutrition coach I have learned how to properly fuel the body while integrating balance in lifestyle.
Supporting others in their health and wellness journey is my great pleasure.
